OBDLink Bluetooth and Torque not working on Android
« on: November 19, 2011, 08:54:22 AM »
Hi!

Just received my OBDLink a few days ago (Hardware Revision 2.7) but Im not able to connect via Bluetooth to my Android 2.3.3 Samsung Galaxy S2 and Torque.
The OBDlink is paird to the device but it is not able to connect via Torque.
No other tools are paired with my device.

Ive tried alot of settings but was not lucky. Torque is not connecting.

USB connection works fine.

Read through the forum on
-          https://www.scantool.net/forum/index.php?topic=5716.0 and
-          http://torque-bhp.com/forums/?wpforumaction=viewtopic&t=1317.00
but could not find any solution for the problem.

Please help me.

Thx, fliegergott

today I tested the OBDlink bluetooth modul with my laptop. bluetooth is working fine. :D
i also tested the bluetooth module with my android samsung galaxy s2 and OBD DroidScan. No problems here.

But still no connection with android-torque.

Hardware should be ok. :D

I will conntact the torque-team.

Thanks for troubleshooting  :)

Please let us know if you and Ian (Torque Developer) find the cause of the problem.

Thanks,
Jason

The problem was, that i did not set up a new car profile.
The old profile was paird with the old china obd-module but not with OBDlink.

Here is the link to the forum on torque:
