Topic: OBDLINK CX fails to connect to BMW

I have a OBDLINK CX unit which I am trying to link to my 2015 BMW 535D. I am using a 2 year old iPhone which carries BimmerCode and Bimmerlink, and I simply cannot get it to link to the car.
I have tried many many times and I am beginning to think the problem is the car, the issue with that is that I have managed to get a connection a few months ago and made some changes, which I would now like to change.
Any suggestions people ?
